      Hit the road with confidence. This program provides classroom and behind-the-wheel training so you can qualify for a commercial drivers license A (CDL A). Upon completion, you are DOT certified. To enroll, you must have a valid Texas drivers license, be at least 21 years old for cross-country over-the-road; for use within Texas, you must be at least 18. You will also need to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
