      The EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification is a federal requirement for anyone that works in the H.V.A.C. field or for anyone that performs maintenance at a commercial facility or apartment complex. Also, any homeowner that performs maintenance on their own air conditioning unit and has contact with the refrigerant inside (i.e. hooking up a refrigerant manifold gage set) must complete this certification. The Certification Exam will be given at the end of the review session.
