Medical Coding is the process that translates diagnoses and procedures into ICD-9 and CPT codes to enable the Billing Office to generate a bill. This class covers coding in a doctors office and in a hospital, both inpatient and outpatient. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required and an assessment will be offered at the orientation on Jan 12.
